Hamid Akhavan-Malayeri (born in 1961 in Tehran, Iran) is the CEO of Siemens Enterprise Communications since February 2010.
Previously, he was member of the board of Deutsche Telekom AG and also CEO of T-Mobile International AG. In addition, he had been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of T-Mobile Germany GmbH (from 2006 to February 2010) and member of the board at T-Mobile International. Earlier, he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) And Chief Information Officer (CIO) At the Teligent Inc. operates.
Education
Akhavan studied Electrical and computer science at California Institute of Technology. After Bachelor of Science he received a master’s degree in the same fields on Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
