Esfandiar Lohrasbpour (PhD) serves as a General Partner of Invesco Private Capital. Dr. Lohrasbpour joined Invesco Private Capital in 1998. In 1987, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations, he co-founded a startup called Pixel Machines. He later re-joined Corporate Headquarters as Corporate Development Director to help focus AT&T on new growth opportunities, most notably, Wireless, and Online Services.
Dr. Lohrasbpour joined AT&T’s Business Services division to create and implement marketing programs targeted to AT&T’s large customers. Prior to joining Invesco, Dr. Lohrasbpour worked with AT&T, where he began his career in 1982. He later joined the Chief Financial Officer Group of Corporate Headquarters as a Semiconductor Analyst to help integrate the MicroElectronics Division’s business plan into the total AT&T business plan. He has been a Director of Omneon, Inc. (formerly, Omneon Video Networks Inc.) since March 2004 and AccountNow Inc. since April 4, 2006.
He serves as a Director of Confluent Photonics Corp., Cast Iron Systems, Inc., LogLogic Inc., Endwave (now public), ConSentry Networks Inc., Invesco Private Capital and Integrated MicroMachines and Fastparts. He served as Director at Cortina Systems Inc.
Dr. Lohrasbpour is registered with the NASD as a General Securities Representative and Uniform Securities Agent. Dr. Lohrasbpour served as Member of Technical Staff in Bell Labs’ Murray Hill location, where he worked in the semiconductor devices area since 1982. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the UCLA School of Engineering in 1982.
Dr. Lohrasbpour received a M.S. in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina in 1976 and a BA in Mathematics from Berea College (Kentucky) in 1974.
