Reza Ahy

Reza Ahy, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Wi2Wi, Inc. Dr. Ahy serves as Principal at AhyNet. Dr. Ahy serves as an Advisor of Satwik Venture Capital Partners. Dr. Ahy founded Aperto Networks, Inc. in 1999 and served as its Chairman until 2006. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aperto Networks, Inc. until May 2006. Dr. Ahy served executive and technical senior management positions with Harris Corporation and Varian Research Center, … focused on businesses and products in broadband wireless and high-speed optical communications systems. Dr. Ahy has over twenty years of progressive achievements, focused on growth and results-oriented leadership plus execution for technology companies from the conception through revenue stages. He has led major strategic partnerships and achieved design wins with many of the world’s major carriers (Telefonica, VSNL, BSNL, Telmex, Sasktel, Centurytel, Etisalat, LRTC, Entel, Sprint-Nextel, and Covad). He served as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of RadioLAN. He has been awarded more than 15 patents to date (more in process), has over 45 publications in international technical journals and conference proceedings, and has contributed as a keynote speaker at many major industry events. He serves as Director of Wi2Wi, Inc. Dr. Ahy holds his PhD. in Electical Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a Rockwell and Stanford Center for Integrated Systems Fellow, and his MSEE and BSEE from University of California, San Diego.
