Massued Behrouzi Senior Vice President and President, Solectron North America. Massued Behrouzi, 48, joined Solectron in 1981 and has more than 20 years of experience in operations, electronics manufacturing and management. As a corporate officer and senior vice president and president of Solectron’s North American Region, Behrouzi was responsible for all manufacturing operations in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Behrouzi began his career at Solectron in California as a manufacturing engineer. He rapidly progressed from engineering and has held several manufacturing management positions of increasing scope and responsibility. In 1994, he transferred to Charlotte, N.C., as the vice president of operations, and in 1995, was named its general manager. As a result of Behrouzi’s leadership, revenue generated by the site more than tripled in four years. Behrouzi was corporate vice president and president of Solectron Americas – Western Region.In this role, he was responsible for the Western Region’s strategic direction, growth, operational and financial performance, and maintaining its customer relationships. Prior to Solectron, Behrouzi was a design engineer for two years at Brentwell’s Corp. in Palo Alto, Calif.
Behrouzi holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University.
