As a member of the Cisco executive staff, Mohsen Moazami is a proven leader with extensive experience in business leadership and technology-enabled business transformation. As vice president of the Cisco® Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), Moazami is responsible for IBSG’s efforts in the Emerging Markets (Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Russia, CIS countries, and Africa) and for the Cisco Globalization Centre in Bangalore, India. Moazami chairs the Cisco country boards for Brazil, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Russia. Additionally, Moazami is a member of the Strategic Leadership Team responsible for Cisco’s entire operations across Emerging Markets.

Moazami works with senior government leaders to help drive country transformation, improve national competitiveness, and advance the lives of citizens. In his previous role as global lead of IBSG’s Retail/Consumer Packaged Goods/Transportation Practice, his team more than doubled its customer partnerships, with successful engagements in 80 percent of the world’s top 10 brands.

Moazami serves as a member of the Strategy Council of the Global Alliance for ICT and the Development of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA-GAID). He sits on the Investment Advisory Board of the Turkish Prime Minister.

Before joining IBSG, Moazami was a vice president/senior partner at Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), in charge of the global e-business practice. Prior to KSA, Moazami founded and oversaw the growth of Stanford Business systems, an ICT software and consulting firm acquired by KSA in 1995. He holds master’s degree from Stanford University.
